About
CallReady turns the phone into your best salesperson.
CallReady is a call-handling consultancy for local businesses. Most of them are good at the work and lose money at the phone: enquiries that ring out, quotes nobody follows up, a booking process only the owner really understands. I find where that happens the way a customer would, then we fix it.
It works in one pass. A mystery shopper goes through your normal customer onboarding flow — the call, the enquiry, the booking, the follow-up — before we meet. Then we spend an hour mapping every step of what happens when a new customer contacts you and marking each place the process breaks down. You leave with a written plan in priority order, saying who does what. I can run it with you, or train whoever answers your phone to run it themselves.
This is built for owner-run service businesses: trades, clinics, salons, studios, garages and home services — anyone whose week depends on calls turning into booked work. It is not for companies that already have a call centre and a quality team. The whole thing is one-time at $490. No retainer, no contract, and nothing to install.
CallReady is built and run by Tara C. Devlin, an interface designer with twenty years of practice designing services that customers love and businesses love to provide. A phone call is an interface too — it has steps, dead ends and feedback — and it can be designed.
